A Fresh New Pop-Rock Release From Gabrielle Ornate
The latest release from Gabrielle Ornate is a wonderfully colorful crossover between pop and an alternative rock field that boasts an addictive progression and a robust songwriting style that feels alive and breathing.
"Delirium" is incredibly infectious with a massive hook that bounces around in your head for days after the song has ended and portrays a unique approach that combines a somewhat nostalgic old school with a new and current rock soundscape.
The hook here is astounding and really gets stuck with you while vocals are lush and flowing throughout the song guitars give off all kinds of great riffs that range from a pop feel to a harder hitting style.
Having the pleasure to have reviewed several of Gabrielle's releases previously I'm very happy to hear this turn in her songwriting style because it shows an evolution.
This aspect is really important for a lot of artists because your song should change just as you do as a person.
A lot of times things like this don't happen because an artist or a songwriter gets very comfortable in their style which is normal and fine but the ones that are able to grow existentially and create new things by bringing in different influences or sounds in, are the ones to really keep an eye on.
Gabrielle is clearly one of those artists because she's full of surprises and each new single that she releases brings a little bit of a different feel to the table so it's really fun to expect the unexpected.
The other great thing about this song is that it's so good for people that are into everything from pop rock to hard rock, run even just straight pop.
You also get such a great feel for her character and presence as an artist throughout this song that it almost makes you want to go see her live.
You just want to see if the performance boasts that same kind of energy that you get on the track which is immense by the way and not always easy to give off on recording yet she's got no problem with it.
This is something that is kind of special.
It's also pretty cool to hear how inspired she is by rock music in general and how she's able to blend her own unique brand of pop into that aspect.
It doesn't very well and never loses her own personality while she's doing it.
This is definitely the type of song that gets so stuck in your head that the only way to fulfill that void is to listen to it again and that's incredibly smart song writing if you ask me.
Is definitely a great new single to check out and come out of it very satiated.
