Glitter Etiquette Drop A Wild New Single

A new single release from Glitter Etiquette brings out a vivacious and colorful soundscape in the form of psychedelic and indie rock along with underlying electronic elements like synths and keys that all give the track its own atmosphere.
"Cows" has a very unique approach because it's got intensities but it also has a smooth almost calmness as well.
The vocals are what really give it that calming feel. They are melodic and soft, and give you memorable melodies that are wonderfully delivered but it's really the texture of the vocals with all the other stuff going on that gives it a unique approach.
This is a great track with layers to it. All these different textures and layers come together and build an atmosphere that you don't want to leave.
They also have an almost live performance element to their aesthetic which puts you in the moment to a certain extent.
Again, this is very colorful and there are several guitar parts along with some synthesized lead sections that give it a psychedelic and almost tripped-out feel.
To me, a lot of this was kind of cinematic really. Bringing these different elements together and having something that is vibrant and bright but also slightly haunting and calming at the same time.
The whole track has a very vast undertone to it. It feels expansive and that soundscape lurks just beneath the song's surface which makes it feel big.
There is a reverb effect on the vocals which also distances those and adds to that atmosphere but there's also a bit of edginess going on here too. There are a few instances where there are bridges where the drumming changes up and gets a bit more aggressive and so does the bass guitar tone.
There are a few surprises around the corners of this track, but all in all, it has a great ability to wrap itself around you and keep you right where it wants to.
I love the semi-fantastical feel that this gives off.
Lyrically this is quite a deepening and almost existential song about death and our understanding of fate as people. We all walk around knowing what's coming but in a strange way ignore that because what else can we do?
I like songs that dig into topics like this and also portray and articulate those topics in a way that actually feels catchy and warm.
This was a pretty exciting track and dug a little deeper than I expected but was a lot of fun to jam too.
I think Glitter Etiquette did an amazing job with this track. The song speaks volumes for the band's ability to create a song with both musical and lyrical layers to it both with catchiness and relatability and do it all with a charm to boot.
The guitar tones were outstanding. The synth approaches were pretty much perfect for this kind of track, and everything came together like pieces of a puzzle.
On top of all that, this was danceable because it's got a great rhythm to it and the energy level itself is one of the most infectious aspects of the song so that is a huge part of what grabs on to you.
I love how they blend some classic influences into this track.
There are obviously all kinds of classic rock infused with these fresher elements that give you the feeling that they would be awesome and a live performance setting.
Dive into this track with headphones on because it's one of the best ways to really soak in the lyrics, layers, tones, and textures floating through the ether of the song.
Again, it's a pretty vast track because there's a lot of reverb on vocals and instruments so listening with headphones lets you fall into that deeper.
Check this out and see what it does for you.
