JJORDAN Drops a Catchy and Colorful Single
A recent single release from JJordan has a unique way of delivering what I would call a combination of smooth and crisp R&B, with afrobeat and he does this so seamlessly that the song comes through bright and with this sort of expansive undertone.
The "Abundance" single is outstanding and right from the beginning of the track you get pulled in with the spanish guitar lick as the song opens up into the beat and gets you into this deep-rooted groove.
It's about that point where you realize you're really into the song so, it was absolutely no time with this sort of infectious approach.
This was beautifully constructed and done so with an absolute and total love for the craft of songwriting and performing because not only is there a bit of brilliance in terms of the arrangement of this track but the actual performance of everything comes through with as much vibrancy as you could ever want.
Having said all that, the track also has a little bit of edginess and a lot of smoothness that lets everything feel silky and alluring.
This is a track you can't help but move your body too so if you're driving in the car and listening to it you're going to start moving around in your seat, if you're at home then you can just go ahead and move the couch back so you can grab your partner and dance around the living room to no end.
The best part about it is, even though the song is so danceable and so addictive, you still get that classic sort of R&B smoothness on top of it all so it's got this polish to it and coating that brings everything together perfectly.
His vocal performance is outstanding and really has passion built into it and the energy levels are perfect because the vocal energy matches the energy of the actual music itself as well and that's something that lets the song really take off and make perfect sense.
This was beautifully done and is riddled with heart, culture, charisma, and this full-bodied and lush soundscape that comes from all this wonderful instrumentation.
As if the song is alive and breathing and I adore that aspect of it because it's something that sticks with you.
There's something cinematic about it and that breeds character wich this song has loads of.
You can certainly see this track in the scene of a movie.
I definitely love a track that has a certain vibe to it and this one puts out quite a strong one and that's something that you don't get often so when you get it it's pretty refreshing.
Being able to take the afrobeat style and blend it in with that sort of R&B approach really worked incredibly well here and it was all very well thought out.
Upon listening to this track I took a little bit of a deep dive into JJordan's back catalog on Spotify and there are several singles released that showcase the artist's ability to really songs that are honest and show some different sides to how he does his thing.
I will definitely be paying a lot more attention to this artist from here on out and if you listen to this track you probably will too.
If you like this track, then you're going to like a lot of his other material as well so there's a good amount of releases to dive into and I suggest you do just that.
Check the single out and get ready to move your body to it.
