A Beautifully Honest New Single From Joceline
A beautiful new song from Joceline gives off a beautifully layered and lush theatrical approach that has a way of letting you get engulfed in it as it surrounds you and as all this is happening you get pulled into the premise of what the song is about and how literally all of us can relate to it at one point in our lives at least.
"Human" is beautifully woven together and does indeed have that robust but ever growing cinematic backbone as pianos, strings, and more start swimming through the air that surrounds you and it is very easy to escape into this track and forget about your own surroundings for a moment in time.
This to me is an absolutely wonderous thing because you don't get it often so when you do get a song that pulls you away from everything and lets you feel like you're not alone in certain kinds of struggles it really makes a difference and becomes very impactful.
This release is absolutely impactful indeed and if you pay attention to it it is a song about how we are the same to an extent and how we can fall down and get back up again or how it's okay to make mistakes or feel certain ways.
We are only human and that's what this song is about so I feel like this is telling us to give ourselves a little slack here and there and maybe not put so much pressure on doing everything right or be upset with ourselves over feeling a certain way about a person or a situation.
The performance across this song is vast and passionate with so much robust character that you become attached to that aspect of it right off the bat.
The instrumentation is gorgeous and you can clearly tell that this song feels like it was cathartic for the artist to write and release which is wonderful, because for the listener, you feel like you're not alone and we need more music that comes through with such emotional drive that it grabs our attention but with a message that it's okay that none of us know what we're doing in a way.
This can also be taken as a song about war, fighting, and battles with each other because of battles within ourselves.
The string sections on this track are astounding and really just let you get washed away with the entire soundscape.
For me, songs like this are important for all and for them to have the right impact, the delivery has to be done with heart and this single encompasses all of that.
This was graceful, compelling, attention-grabbing, intuitive, smart, full-bodied, theatrical, and has a way of feeling somewhat intense at times.
The way her vocal performance is displayed across the span of the song lets everything feel alive and breathing and you know that this came from some heavy-handed emotional platform that couldn't be held back any longer.
Think about artists like Joceline is that we all know that at times we feel these kinds of things and have to deal with certain emotions about how the world and how people impact us, but we don't know exactly how to articulate that kind of emotion or feelings into actual words and so when artists like Joceline come along and do it for us it's incredible.
This is a song to listen to with headphones on with no interruptions and if I were to rate it, I would give this a straight up 10 out of 10.
This has so many strengths to it and comes through as authentic as a song possibly can.
