Keltrix Electrifies With New Singles
If you're not yet too familiar with the sounds of Keltrix, then let us help introduce you as a recent single has been released and the impact that it has is quite beautiful as the song manages to build in a unique way into something that swirls around you and lets you swim through it.
Keltrix is a very unique project that is helmed by songwriter and performer Keri Kel and has been releasing music since 2011 which you can hear all of on the project's Spotify page.
The wonderful thing about this project is the way that the sound evolves and formulates what feels like a personality for each release and this is something that is quite enticing.
The new single is called "Last Light" and it's very expansive, especially because it begins with this acoustic guitar sound that sort of hooks you in as strings and other instrumentation build around it and once it's in full swing, you just can't look away.
The song continues building up and more instruments are incorporated.
After the first verse, you get percussion and drumming that start coming in and the song begins to morph into something different and a little bit more full-bodied.
All the while you're really stuck on these sort of majestic feeling vocals.
Finally, this song hits a point where heavy guitars come in and the drums start really smashing and everything becomes a rock sound and even that is done with a tasteful energy.
This single was super well done and the one that came just before it called "Past The Wolves" also has a certain growth to it from beginning to end but feels a little more theatrical in a way.
Both the songs are really connected with each other and that might be due to the fact that both singles are set to be released as part of a full record soon enough.
It certainly feels like it's going to be a record with a storyline and concept.
We are looking very forward to that release which as far as we can tell is also going to be called Past The Wolves.
But for now, we have some great singles to latch onto and get us ramped up for the album.
Check these out when you can and while you're at it listen to some of the earlier drops.
Keep your eyes and ears open for Keltrix.
