A Connective New Single From Lenny The Heart
In a new release from Lenny the heart We get a wonderfully colorful and connective showcasing of youthful indie rock and with its deepening undertone And almost dreamy vocals the track touches on sub-genres that you wouldn't expect from a project like this right off the bat.
The single is absolutely lush. It feels bouncy, fun and has a more meaningful set of lyrics That lets you connect with it even further And at times even lets memories of your own pop into your head when you least expect it.
This track only is bordering on that classic garage rock feel and those vocals have a way of kind of reaching out at you grabbing hold and not letting go.
The single is called "You're Not Just Anybody" and it features Youngheartbreaks in a collaborative effort which indeed brightens the song up and brings it to a refreshing and slightly edgy but really catchy soundscape.
The track obviously came from someplace real. It feels genuine and like it was written specifically for somebody. Almost like a love song but not in the way that you think.
Sort of warming, a little bit touching, and still manages to get you off your ass and dancing around the living room.
That staple indie rock undertone stays really strong throughout the track so it never loses that edginess and always stays in that arena of rock in general but it does reach out to these other areas that lets it breathe differently and lets it feel soaking in.
This was really really well done and is a great introduction to Lenny The Heart honestly.
The best thing is if you dig this song, you'll probably dig a lot of his material so I suggest you start here, and dive back through his catalog.
You really won't be disappointed.
