An incredible new EP release from Marta Palombo delivers such a lush and intense tonality that walks the line between a cinematic soundscape and a very personal honesty that creates atmospheres that keep you floating right alongside the songs and along with that you have a personality which is created and built from that Honesty and the way that she describes things and gives off such bountiful emotional drive.

The Loveliness Made Damned EP is not just an EP alone as it is released as a visual that is made into a short film where you can really soak in this amazing presence and heavy creativity that Marta exudes with such a passion.

You can listen to the EP itself and still feel all this emotion and listen to the stories that are being told while you visualize in your head sort of like reading a book and believe me when I tell you, when you listen to the EP on its own, it is a great escape while it can still bring to mine situations and memories of your home at the same time.

Having said that, watching the film that comes along with this EP is an absolute must because this takes you through her creative visual approach and aesthetic which is really important in how she's expressing the stories that are being told.

The visual release lets you see things truly through her own eyes and I think that's an important factor in terms of how you soak in this record.

The way she puts it all together and puts herself in these scenarios and stories is outstanding and the whole thing was shot with such attention to detail but it never loses the heart, soul, or character that it was based on in the first place and I think that's also important.

This is a massive and intense form of self-expression and the whole thing must have been incredibly cathartic for Marta to actually write, release, and create visuals for.

You have these layers of emotions and you put them all together to get the full story which is the beauty of the record itself and how Marta expresses herself throughout its course.

There are beautiful waves of intensity musically and sometimes things feel fully orchestrated and dreamlike but when you watch the visuals you are getting a lot of that as well and so you can feel these different pieces of Marta being given throughout the record.

Again, this is all kind of intense and she definitely put a lot of love into making this record happen and all the different facets that it comes with.

Her vocal performances are all heartfelt, and true delivered with a lush passion and it all has a way of wrapping itself around you and keeping you right where it wants to.

This was completely graceful, honest, genuine, orchestrated, beautiful, real, and displayed such a heavy and poignant presence as an artist that it is impossible to look away from.

When you are done watching and listening to this record you have to snap yourself back into reality again.

One of the most beautiful escapes I've had musically and visually in a long time, definitely listen and watch this record.

You will certainly not be disappointed and it will affect you.
