A Brilliant New Song From The Safety Word
The Safety Word has been around for some time and throughout that time, they have been dropping all kinds of amazing material just under the radar and if you have a few moments to have a listen, you will be pleasantly surprised at how tremendous and exuberant the pieces of music can sound.
Most recently, the project released a song called "Colour Of Water".
The song is fluent and buoyant with different way to fill the air and lets you breathe it in.
There are things about this track that actually create what feels like
Synesthesia as you can alsmost see certain colors created by the music itself while it plays.
This is a single with depth and balance, cunning and spaciousness, and a natural ebb and flow.
"The song originated from personal experiences, moments of pure emotion, and a desire to express pain, true love, and the essence of just being. Simon had a beat for a lo-fi album we were working on, and I took it, played a melody over it, and produced the song organically. It came naturally at the right moment, amplifying a state of being. It's possibly the most melancholic song we've created, and I'm contemplating if now is the right time to release it" - The Safety Word.
