A Beautiful Single From Arwen Lewis
The latest track from Arwen Lewis hits an almost dream-esque country vibe that feels like it was bred from old school songs that you'd hear on the country radio station when you were a kid.
The song lets you float with it and in doing so you sort of get washed away with the whole thing.
This of course feels amazing because the song ends up being sort of an escape from your own reality in a way and we all love songs that can pull you away from things and sort of wrap themselves around you like that.
"Black Moon" holds true to classic country and Americana vibes with a subtle but less form of instrumentation that takes place and with the vocals being so soothing and dreamy, it creates this atmosphere that you don't want to step back out of.
There's something completely beautiful about this song and it's very alluring in the way that you can become almost engulfed in it.
The track also boasts a little bit of this peaceful Vibe as well that you get from listening to it. It almost puts you at ease and calms you down which is quite relieving.
Either way, I think that being able to draw such classic influences and create a song that sounds like a crossover between vintage and now in this genre especially is quite impressive.
More importantly than that though of course, is that there's heart in there.
You can hear clear love for the craft with every note played and with every second passed and that in itself is wonderful.
Having a love for what you're doing and putting your heart into it or the only two things you really need to let people understand it no matter what the art form honestly.
Arwen Lewis does all of this and pulls it off with a charm.
This was a very well-done single and speaks volumes for the genre and its youth and upcoming songwriters and performers.
