A Fresh New Single Drop From Rhys Avery

A brand new single release from rhys avery delivers a very fresh and radio friendly cross of R&B and pop with smooth beats and even smoother vocals but it all comes with this lush personality and character that you end up getting attached to right from the start.
"lowkey" is definitely a youthful track but very relatable to plenty of people as he does get pretty descriptive with those lyrics and paints a bit of a picture so that you really understand his flow.
The production is outstanding on this track because it's so radio friendly and also boasts some outstanding vocal approaches not just during the verses but during those choruses really. The choruses showcase his actual singing abilities and they're pretty intense because he has a great range and throughout it all he still sings with a passion and a soul so it's pretty infectious.
Again, this is quite a smooth track and between the vocals and the production you have a great balance of energies. The dynamic to this track is allure. And it is quite an alluring track. It grabs your attention and has this flow that sort of swims around in the air that's around you.
The beat is pretty fresh and it features some great synth and keys that had a bit of atmosphere and vastness to the undertone of the track which again, build some of that mystique and almost cinematic backbone.
This is super catchy and the hook of the track is something that ends up sticking with you for quite some time after the song is ended.
You can tell there was a lot of attention to detail during the creation of this one but it also never loses that character the whole time.
This is one of the things you end up really holding on to.
There are sections that serve almost like little bridges before choruses and you get some great vocal work out in the distance during those parts too. There's a great mix on this song that really helps everything come through with a certain aesthetic.
The energy is also addictive. This whole track has a very strong persona and energy to it so when you hear it, it stops you when your tracks for a moment so that you're paying attention.
There's also something familiar about it but I think that's because it is again, so radio friendly. It definitely feels like the type of track that would be playing on any major pop or R&B radio station out there.
The whole thing is polished but still has that element of personal tonality to it.
You can tell he has the ability to really go off vocally. He's got harmonies, amazing pitch, some incredible soul when he's singing and just riffing in the background, and the hooks are bountiful so you can tell he's kind of, not holding back exactly, but making sure that the song comes through with that pop overcoat so anyone can really grab onto it.
Having said that, when you listen to this track you know he can sing. It kind of makes you want to go see him perform it live because the kind of energy that's captured here is very particular and I'd love to see that in a live performance setting.
I love hearing an artist on record and knowing that they would be great to see in person.
rhys is one of those.
Again, this is brand new so definitely check it out and do so with headphones on because it's one of the best ways to soak in the kind of atmosphere this one delivers.
Check this out and see what it does for you.
